Ph.D. Entomology, Cornell University, 2003.
B. S. Agronomy, The Pennsylvania State University, 1985.
I am responsible for developing IPM tactics for insect pests of row crops, particularly cotton and soybeans. Current research focuses on movement, feeding preferences and sampling methods of tarnished plant bug and stink bugs. I am also involved in resistance monitoring and management of tarnished plant bugs, cotton bollworm and bean leaf beetle.
I currently teach "Principles of Insect Pest Management" for undergraduate and graduate students each spring and advise undergraduates majoring in Integrated Pest Management.
